Fight for 40 got it's start as an art exhibit with all proceeds going to Planned Parenthood and Lambda Legal. The exhibit was put on by Amna in October 2023 at Gallery 444, Provincetown MA. The art style is meant to grab your attention and highlight powerful statements. These statements are just as potent today as they were in 2023. The originals were done in color pencil by hand and have all been sold. Prints may be available by request.
It’s true, an objective view of facts and evidence leads to more liberal conclusions. That’s because conservatives rely on myths to interpret facts which are at odds to their social sentiments.

I’ll say it again. Religion is a collection of myths. If you want to live your life by rules based on fables, go for it. Your myths should have no place in governing my life.

I don't understand the threat. How and when does someone else's identity threaten your own? Why should the way in which someone chooses to express themselves become enough of a threat that laws and threats of physical or mental harm be justified? It's not. That mentality is for the scared and afraid that they themselves might not actually be the person they forced to represent.
What is cruel? Cruelty has gradients. No ice cream? No screen time? No access to food? No rights to express yourself? Imprisonment? Starvation? Threat of death? Torture? What we do and say has both weight and meaning. Resist the inclination to hurt and be hurt. Resist cruelty. Think about what you stand for.
Fascism sucks because of it's authoritarian nature, suppressing individual freedoms and promoting a dictatorial government. Most people will agree to that. What they don't agree with is that they are the ones supporting fascism.
The logic is simple. If there are less bullets, less people will die from being shot. These are actually two separate but related sentiments. Less bullets doesn't inherently mean more peace, but these are both noble goals.
